The Portlaoise Jazz Festival will launch in 2026! Expect bopping jazz, cool blues, smooth soul along with family friendly daytime concerts. We have listed the events for Friday below to get you started. On Saturday January 31st and Sunday February 1st the festival will take to the pubs of Portlaoise where we have an exciting selection of music planned across the entire town. Lee Meehan
The headline performance of the festival will take place on Friday January 30th at 8:00pm in the main auditorium of Dunamaise Arts Centre where Lee Meehan and his quartet will take to the stage. Tickets for this show are now on sale at the link: Tickets here!
Indigo Mood
On Friday January 30th at 6:30pm on the mezzanine of the Dunamaise Arts Centre, Indigo Mood Duo will perform Classic Jazz. This concert is funded by The Arts Council and is free to attend.
The Tenters
Our festival weekend will begin on January 30th at 4:30pm with a performance in Portlaoise library by The Tenters Gypsy Jazz Band. This performance is funded by Creative Ireland, is family friendly and is free to attend.
